The DES-1024D is unmanaged 10/100Mbps Ethernet switches designed for cost-effective SOHO and workgroup connection. Equipped with 24 10/100Mbps ports in a solid metal desktop case, this switch provides low-cost connections for workstations on the twisted-pair network cables.
24 Plug-and-Play Desktop Connections. With 24 10/100BASE-TX ports supporting auto-sensing speeds and auto MDI/MDIX plug-and-play, this switche provide easy, low-cost connection for desktop computers.
Flow Control for Secure Transmission. The switch provides 802.3x standard flow control to minimize dropped packets. It does this by sending out collision signals when the port's receiving buffer is full. This function support allows you to safely deploy servers operating at 200Mbps full duplex mode for simultaneous access from workstations with minimal risk of data loss.
Quality of Service (QoS). The switches provide 802.1P priority queues for QoS, allowing users to run bandwidth-sensitive applications such as multi-media and VoIP Internet telephone without data flow bottlenecks that can degrade the quality of the network connection.
